RIPS (Recording Industry Performance Singapore Pte Ltd) is a collective licensing body. RIPS is empowered to exercise the rights of the record companies with respect to the (1) public performance of karaoke and/or music videos, (2) reproduction of sound recordings onto a computerised or other storage systems and (3) MP3/MP4 Licence, in which the copyright is owned or controlled by the record companies represented by RIPS to grant the requisite licences.
